Dr. Jerry Wallace, Founder and CEO, was inspired to support students, communities and businesses due to a variety of personal experiences during his youth and collegiate engagement. Dr. Wallace's foundational work and collaboration initially began in participating in and supporting male students of color which would later evolve into educational advancement, community enrichment, and organizational and leadership development. Over the years, Dr. Wallace has partnered with a variety of leaders, programs, and communities to support cultural immersion, economic empowerment for marginalized communities, faith-based growth, and career development.

As college student Jerry would join Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity as charter member at Lamar University which would propel him into participating and supporting programs dedicated to supporting young men of color.
Jerry as a graduate student along with several others would form the 'Becoming Men of Excellence' inaugural conference at Lamar University.
The 'Becoming Men of Excellence' founding members which would also include members of the ManUp program. Jerry led the marketing team in designing the logo, shirts, bags, and agenda. The event hosted 108 students.
The 'African American Male Professionals Program' would partner with the '100 Black Men' for mentoring and support. The program would latter be renamed to 'BME'.
While working toward his doctorate degree Jerry would be featured a lead mentor for the 'Men of Honor Program'.
The 'Men of Honor Program' takes students on its first cultural immersion experience.
The 'Men of Honor Program' is invited to present research and best practices for supporting male students of color.
Jerry along with Ron Hopkins, Lamar McWaine, and Alexander O'kwonna present key strategies for success for men of color programs.
Jerry participates as an inaugural research fellow along with others for the Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education.
Dr. Jerry Wallace is hooded, featured in University Publication. Dissertation titled, "A Phenomenological Narrative Study of African American Male Community College Instructors".
Dr. Jerry Wallace participates as a fellow for the 2014 class of the Leadership and Mentoring Institute, American Association of Blacks in Higher Education, held at Miles College (HBCU in Alabama).
Dr. Wallace co-founder of Men of L.E.G.A.C.I. alongside Dr. Vida Robertson, (Leadership. Excellence. Grades. Access. Collaboration. Identity).
Dr. Wallace featured as the keynote speaker for the 10th Anniversary for the 'Becoming Men of Excellence Program', (formerly AAMP) at Lamar University.
The 'Greater Houston Area Collegiate Symposium' support career exploration and leadership development.
The 'Project Males', engagement and co-chair at the University of Texas-Austin.
The 'Men of Distinction Program', top Community College President's Award Winner for top student success program.

Presented at the Texas Black Expo 2024 Annual Festival, featuring NFL Hall of Famer, Shannon Sharpe.
